The 2019 Porterhouse Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 'Blackridge Vineyard' is a delightfully savory and spicy Cabernet that showcases great versatility and style. It presents a garnet black color in the glass. On the nose, warm spicy cassis compote, vanilla coconut cream, dill gherkin, and chocolate-dipped blackberry and red apple aromas intertwine. The palate reveals flavors of cherry nougat milk chocolates with shaved coconut, cranberry chutney, pickling spice, red cassis, and purple flower. These intricate flavors are supported by well-integrated, soft tannins and moderate oak influence.
