Originally planted by legendary vintner Carlo Rossi in 1910, Rossi Ranch holds a rich history within Sonoma Valley. This 2018 Zinfandel originates from an organic replanting in 2012. Bursting with flavors and intrigue, the wine unveils a subtle savory character that evolves into notes of black cherry and raspberry coulis. A delicate hint of freshly cracked black peppercorn and tarragon emerges. The finish crescendos with black licorice and blue fruit, gently subsiding with a touch of minerality and soft tannins on the palate. Aged for 18 months in large-format, 100% neutral French oak.
