Piazza Estate 2020 Syrah Bella Vista Vineyard

Established in 2018, Piazza Family Estate grows vines that are sustainable, grapes that are organic, and wine that's natural. The 2020 vintage in Ballard Canyon was characterized by heat, resulting in a rich and bold Syrah that captivates both in mouthfeel and aroma. The wine's aromatic profile showcases notes of cedar, earth, cola, and a touch of bacon fat and clove. Umami delights the palate, accompanied by flavors of dried plum, sweet tobacco, and black cherry. Balanced with bright acidity, the wine concludes with a long, chalky finish that pairs exceptionally well with a tri-tip sandwich or brisket. Aged for 11 months in a combination of new and neutral French oak.
